Käytä aina kovalla, vakaalla ja tasaisella alustalla.
Älä koskaan käytä pehmeillä alustoilla, joihin nosturi voi upota ja aiheuttaa moottoripyörän kaatumisen.

Etsi kova, vakaa ja tasainen alusta ja pysäköi moottoripyörä sivuseisontatuelle.
Jos irrotat pyörän, löysää akselimutteri ennen pyörän nostamista.
Laita moottoripyörä ykkösvaihteelle, jotta takapyörä lukittuu eikä pyörä pääse vierimään.
Lukitse etujarruvipu mukana toimitetulla kaksipuolisella tarranauhalla.
Lisäturvallisuuden vuoksi aseta kiviä, tukkeja, hiekkaa tai muita tukevia esineitä pyörän eteen ja taakse.
Sivuseisontatuella pyörä kallistuu toiselle puolelle. Asetu vastakkaiselle puolelle, kun käytät Trail Jackia.
Varmista, että alusta kestää nosturin. Jos ei, estä jalkaa uppoamasta (esimerkiksi käyttämällä tukevaa alustaa).
Valitse pyörästä tukeva ja turvallinen nostokohta:
Takapyörä: takahaarukka
Etupyörä: moottorin etuosan lähellä
Runkoputki tai pohjapanssarin reikä, johon haarukka sopii, toimii myös hyvin
Varmista, että valittu kohta on vakaa eikä pääse liukumaan.
Huom: Testaa tämä kotona ennen liikkeelle lähtöä. Saatat joutua poraamaan pohjapanssariin 13 mm reiän, jotta Y-pidike sopii paikalleen.
Älä käytä jalkatappeja, ellet ole varma, että ne ovat kiinteät. Useimmat ovat saranoituja ja voivat taittua yllättäen, jolloin pyörä voi kaatua.
Aseta tunkki pystysuoraan niin, että sen jalka on maassa nostokohdan lähellä, jotta voit arvioida tarvittavan pituuden.
Tavoite:
Rengas on juuri irti maasta
Tunkki on mahdollisimman pystysuorassa
Liian suuri kulma = epävakaus.
Älä nosta korkeammalle kuin on tarpeen.
Paina painonappiklipsiä ja kierrä sisäputkea hieman, jotta se liukuu vapaasti lukittumatta jokaiseen reikään.
Kun oikea korkeus on löytynyt, anna sen lukittua.
Ohjeena tunkin tulisi olla noin 5–7 cm nostokohtaa korkeampi.
Aseta haarukkapää nostokohdan alle. Tunkki asettuu luonnostaan hieman vinoon.
Pidä alemmasta putkesta kiinni toisella kädellä ja työnnä pyörää varovasti sivutuen varaan toisella, kunnes tunkki liukuu paikalleen.
Pyri pitämään tunkki mahdollisimman pystysuorassa. Renkaan tulee olla juuri irti maasta — ei tarpeettoman korkealla.
Jos kulma on liian jyrkkä tai korkeus väärä, laske pyörä alas ja säädä tunkin pituus.
Tämä vaatii harjoittelua — kokeile sitä kotona ennen kuin luotat siihen maastossa.
Testaa vakaus ennen kuin alat työskennellä pyörän parissa.
Heiluta moottoripyörää varovasti ja pysy valmiina astumaan tarvittaessa pois.
Jatka vain, kun olet varma, että asetus on vakaa.
Pidä kaikki osat puhtaina ja vapaina hiekasta, mudasta ja roskista. Putket istuvat tiukasti, ja lika voi estää sujuvan toiminnan.
Voit huuhdella putket vedellä (esimerkiksi CamelBakista).
Irrota musta jalka ja sisäputki painonappiklipsillä ennen huuhtelua.

Handy! I was able to lift my Tenere 700 wheels (one at a time) onto the side stand with one hand and slide this into place. It looked precarious, but I rocked it back forth and it was solid. Easily lubed the chain, and I don’t anticipate having trouble removing wheels for flat repair. I don’t recommend using it in gravel since it could slide out, but it dug into grass and held firm. Cheaper and (obviously) lighter than a center stand.
Very nice finish and it seems to do it's job. Haven't had to use it in the field (and I suppose everyone should hope they don't have to), but I expect it to work. I do have some concerns about the bigger than expected gap between inner and outer tube, I thought it would have been a tighter fit, but given the extensive experience around the world, it must be ok.

You mentioned being concerned about the size difference between the outer tube and the inner tube, but it does not cause any issues whatsoever and that’s actually by design. For one, it keeps the trail jack much more affordable since we can use standard size tubes instead of machining them, which would double the cost at minimum.
There’s also a practical reason: when you’re out on the trail and you drop the trail jack in the sand or dirt, having that bit of extra space means that sand or dirt grains won’t get stuck and cause issues when you’re trying to fit the parts together. Hope that helps clarify everything.

Awesome trailstand, very packable. I have a great use of this stand and works great for my KTM 890R. I store it in my Mosko Pinner tool roll. If the trailstand tuben were 1cm shorter it would be a perfect fit, but not sure how that would impact on lifting different bikes. /Braap&Camp

And you are right, shortening the Trail Jack would impact lifting certain bikes. Especially, lifting the front wheel on Enduro bikes.

Hi,
I tested the trailstand during an morocco trip for 3 weeks and am very happy with the part. Easy to use, simple and stable funktion.
Used the stand with an loaded tenere world raid, stand is stable also within sand if u use a little stone etc. Light and simple to pack.
A nice improvement would be to have a place to put the splint during transport. The lower hose could be used to put or clamp the splint inside if its long onepugh.
I strapped it with the break strap onto the trailstand.

So I purchased my Rolling Mavericks trail Jack to be part of my Every Day Carry kit for my Dual Sport.
I was a little put off with the shipping and lack of tracing provided. I wasn’t able to get any updates past that it arrived in Canada. It was about 2 weeks after that my parcel had arrived.
The shipping box was destroyed, however the contents were intact and complete. There was no packing within the box either.
The fact it came from the Netherlands and arrived after 5 weeks was acceptable. As stated before better tracking would be beneficial.
The Stand/jack seems to function as intended and hopefully I’ll never have a use for it!
