Deze hoogwaardige, in Japan gemaakte Asahi LIGHTOOL Mini Combinatiesleutelsets zijn bedoeld voor de minimalistische motorrijder die gewicht en ruimte in zijn gereedschapsrol wil besparen. Gemaakt van gesmeed chroom-vanadiumstaal, weegt de 5-delige set korte sleutels slechts 127 gram, terwijl de 6-delige set met een 17 mm sleutel slechts 198 gram weegt.

Deze Asahi LIGHTOOL combinatiesleutels zijn zo klein dat ze vrijwel overal in je zak passen of zelfs onder het zadel van je motorfiets. De langste 14 mm sleutel in de 5-delige set is slechts 95 mm lang en de 17 mm in de 6-delige set slechts 115 mm. Omdat dit korte, gedrongen sleutels zijn, zijn ze al ultralicht. Toch vermindert het slimme ontwerp met gaten en uitsparingen in deze sleutels van gesmeed chroom-vanadiumstaal het gewicht nog verder zonder afbreuk te doen aan de sterkte van de sleutels.

Asahi LIGHTOOL sleutels worden gesmeed volgens de hoogste normen, zijn hard chroomgecoat en voldoen aan de Japanse Industriestandaard (JIS). Als je de voorkeur geeft aan dubbele of combinatiesleutels, bieden wij verschillende sets unieke en superlichte Asahi LIGHTOOL sleutels aan.

These and the mini socket set are rad. All of them easily fit in my pocket and I can do any roadside repairs without even packing a tool kit. Awesome tools. These are tiny so you won't have much reach but super handle.

Als ich den 14er mal etwas belastete verbog er doch viel zu schnell. (Für mich) Unbrauchbar als Notwerkzeug am Motorrad.

Hi Frank, thanks for your review. It is unfortunate that your wrench bent. It is the first time I’ve heard of one bending in more than 4 years of selling these. These wrenches are made according to strict JIS standards and exceed the torque specs of M10 bolts (Japanese 14mm hex) by a good margin. However, if you have a seized nut exceeding the torque specs and put your foot or an extension on the wrench and , it will break, like any tool. But perhaps yours had a manufacturing defect.

An M10 bolt's maximum tightening torque depends on its bolt grade and whether the threads are clean and dry or lubricated. For high-strength Grade 10.9 bolts, the maximum torque can range from around 57 to 82 Nm (42 to 60 ft-lbs), while lower-strength Grade 8.8 bolts are torqued to approximately 37-57 Nm (27-42 ft-lbs).

I am curious to know why you did not contact me first before writing this review.

Great service provided by David who didn't hesitate to sent me a second shipment without charge when the first one seemed to be lost. When this one appeared some time after the second, he paid for the return shipment.

Useful, could do with a bit more length/leverage

I’ve used most of the spanners now mainly for chain breaking and adjusting, hence wanting a bit more leverage. Three have gone into my trail tool kit replacing heavier tools
