Rolling Mavericks Ultralight Enduro Trail Jack Stand 4.0
We respect your privacy and don't share your email with anybody.
The Rolling Mavericks Ultralight Enduro Motorcycle Trail Jack Stand 4.0 is built for traveling motorcycle riders. With the Enduro Trail Jack, you can effortlessly lift one wheel off the ground to fix a flat tire, perform roadside repairs, or lubricate your chain.
NEW 4.0 VERSION — NO ASSEMBLY, NO LOOSE PARTS, LIGHTER AND STRONGER THAN EVER!
The Ultralight Dual Sport Trail Stand is precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. The result is what we believe to be the lightest trail jack stand available, while still being exceptionally compact and strong.
The Trail Jack 4.0 has undergone a meticulous redesign. Version 4 now weighs just 99 grams — a 25-gram reduction compared to the previous model. We achieved this by replacing the 6061-T6 aluminum tubing used before with aerospace-grade 7075-T6 tubing. This allowed us to design thinner, lighter tubing while increasing overall strength.
The result: our strongest Trail Jack yet, and the first trail jack in the world to drop below the 100-gram threshold without compromising strength.
A 300 kg motorcycle? Not a problem. Do dual-sport bikes that heavy even exist? Either way, we put our Trail Jack Stand to the test in a press, where it easily withstood 550 kg / 1,100 lbs but we advise not succeed 425kg as a max load.
Whether you ride a lightweight KTM 450, Honda CRF300L, Husqvarna 701, KTM 690 or Kove, a midweight Yamaha Ténéré 700 or KTM 790/890 Adventure, or a heavier machine like a KTM 1190 Adventure or Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin, the Trail Jack is built to help you out when it matters.
We didn’t stop there. The Trail Jack features a telescopic pole design with an integrated spring loaded button clip, allowing you to quickly set the correct height. No loose parts, no assembly required, and nothing to store separately.
The fourth generation Trail Jack is easier to use, easier to pack, and less bulky — leaving more room in your kit for other essentials.
Like its predecessors, the Trail Jack works with motorcycles equipped with either a side stand or center stand, allowing you to lift one wheel off the ground quickly when you need it most.
Note: since the Trail Jack 4.0 is new, pictures of bikes are mostly with the previous generation Trail Jack.
Leaner, Lighter, and Ready for Adventure

Use at Your Own Risk
Using the Trail Jack makes the motorcycle unstable. It is intended only for emergency use on the trail. Maximum safe weight of motorcycle and luggage combined 400 KG
Do not use it as a workshop stand. Always use on firm, stable, flat ground.
Never use on soft surfaces where the jack may sink and cause the motorcycle to fall.
Find a firm, stable, flat surface and park your motorcycle on its side stand. If you are removing a wheel, loosen the axle nut before lifting the bike.
Front Wheel in the Air
Put the motorcycle in first gear to lock the rear wheel and prevent rolling.
Rear Wheel in the Air
Use the supplied double-sided Velcro strap to lock the front brake lever. For extra safety, place stones, logs, sand, or other solid objects in front of and behind the wheel.
Raising the Motorcycle
On the side stand, the bike leans to one side. Position yourself on the opposite side when using the Trail Jack.
Make sure the ground can support the jack. If not, prevent the foot from sinking (for example, by using a solid base).
Choosing a Jacking Point
Select a solid, secure point on the bike:
Rear wheel: rear swingarm
Front wheel: near the front of the engine
A frame tube or a hole in the bash plate that fits the yoke also works well
Make sure the chosen point is stable and cannot slip.
Note: Test this at home before heading out. You may need to drill a 13 mm hole in the bash plate to fit the Y-holder.
Do not use foot pegs unless you are certain they are fixed. Most are hinged and can fold unexpectedly, causing the bike to fall.
Setting the Correct Height
Place the jack vertically with its foot on the ground near the jacking point to estimate the required length.
The goal:
The wheel is just off the ground
The jack is as vertical as possible
Too much angle = instability. Do not lift higher than necessary.
Press the button clip and slightly twist the inner tube to slide it freely without locking into each hole. Once the correct height is found, let it engage.
As a guideline, the jack should be about 5–7 cm taller than the jacking point.
Lifting the Wheel
Position the yoke under the jacking point. The jack will naturally sit at a slight angle.
Hold the lower tube with one hand and gently push the bike onto the side stand with the other until the jack slides into place.
Aim to keep the jack as vertical as possible. The wheel should be just off the ground—not excessively high.
If the angle is too steep or the height is off, reset the bike and adjust the jack length.
This takes practice—try it at home before relying on it in the field.
Stability Check
Before working on the bike, test stability.
Gently wiggle the motorcycle while staying ready to step away if needed. Only proceed when you are confident the setup is stable.
Maintenance
Keep all parts clean and free of sand, mud, or debris. The tubes fit tightly, and dirt can prevent smooth operation.
You can rinse the tubes with water (for example, from a CamelBak). Remove the black foot and inner tube with the button clip before rinsing.

Stronger and easier to use than it looks
Handy! I was able to lift my Tenere 700 wheels (one at a time) onto the side stand with one hand and slide this into place. It looked precarious, but I rocked it back forth and it was solid. Easily lubed the chain, and I don’t anticipate having trouble removing wheels for flat repair. I don’t recommend using it in gravel since it could slide out, but it dug into grass and held firm. Cheaper and (obviously) lighter than a center stand.

Enduro trail jack stand 3.0
Very nice finish and it seems to do it's job. Haven't had to use it in the field (and I suppose everyone should hope they don't have to), but I expect it to work. I do have some concerns about the bigger than expected gap between inner and outer tube, I thought it would have been a tighter fit, but given the extensive experience around the world, it must be ok.
Hi Joni! Thanks so much for your great review!
You mentioned being concerned about the size difference between the outer tube and the inner tube, but it does not cause any issues whatsoever and that’s actually by design. For one, it keeps the trail jack much more affordable since we can use standard size tubes instead of machining them, which would double the cost at minimum.
There’s also a practical reason: when you’re out on the trail and you drop the trail jack in the sand or dirt, having that bit of extra space means that sand or dirt grains won’t get stuck and cause issues when you’re trying to fit the parts together. Hope that helps clarify everything.

A must have!
Awesome trailstand, very packable. I have a great use of this stand and works great for my KTM 890R. I store it in my Mosko Pinner tool roll. If the trailstand tuben were 1cm shorter it would be a perfect fit, but not sure how that would impact on lifting different bikes. /Braap&Camp
Hi Mattias, thanks for the great review and the video!
And you are right, shortening the Trail Jack would impact lifting certain bikes. Especially, lifting the front wheel on Enduro bikes.

Nice, light and handy trailstand also capable for bigger bikes
Hi,
I tested the trailstand during an morocco trip for 3 weeks and am very happy with the part. Easy to use, simple and stable funktion.
Used the stand with an loaded tenere world raid, stand is stable also within sand if u use a little stone etc. Light and simple to pack.
A nice improvement would be to have a place to put the splint during transport. The lower hose could be used to put or clamp the splint inside if its long onepugh.
I strapped it with the break strap onto the trailstand.
Love the pictures!

Stand above the rest
So I purchased my Rolling Mavericks trail Jack to be part of my Every Day Carry kit for my Dual Sport.
I was a little put off with the shipping and lack of tracing provided. I wasn’t able to get any updates past that it arrived in Canada. It was about 2 weeks after that my parcel had arrived.
The shipping box was destroyed, however the contents were intact and complete. There was no packing within the box either.
The fact it came from the Netherlands and arrived after 5 weeks was acceptable. As stated before better tracking would be beneficial.
The Stand/jack seems to function as intended and hopefully I’ll never have a use for it!
Thanks Charles. I really appreciate your honest review! Also thanks for the video!

Upgrading my 701 travel toolbag
I have ordered several items to upgrade my 701 travel toolbag. All received quickly with detailed tracking. Perfect. The multi tool is very convenient for all small nut and bolt job. All bits are together, only the big T45 and T50 are socket type. I added an extension to access everywhere on the bike. The spanner 32mm with its 27mm insert is a jewel! So lightweight and strong and enough to lose front and rear wheel nuts. That itself saved a lot of weight in the bag. The Trail jack stand is just perfect and takes no space to carry. Very happy with my new tools that I would recomment to anyone looking for high quality and well thought traveler's tools.
