Hi Andrew, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you love our products, but we’re sorry the import charges made the overall cost frustrating.
Unfortunately, import duties, taxes, and broker fees are not included in our product prices or shipping rates. These charges are set and collected by US Customs/FedEx, not by Rolling Mavericks, and we do not receive any part of them.
We also try to make this as clear as possible before ordering. Our shop has a dedicated page explaining the recent US import policy changes, and before checkout customers are shown a notice stating that duties and broker fees are not included. To continue, customers must tick a checkbox confirming they understand this.
So while we completely understand that these extra costs are annoying, they were not hidden or added by us after the order. We wish the situation for US customers were simpler and cheaper, but sadly these fees are outside our control.
